He had held the door open and pulled out her seat for her, and she had smiled and thanked him both times, her mind fastforwarding to the day she would end the game. This had to be, without a doubt, one of her favourite games; he was just so different to any she had done before! More challenging, yes, and she knew she had broken her rule of not letting any game get in the way of classes, but in the end, it would be worth it. After she had given her his order, he left to get the food, and she leaned back in her chair, planning her next moves. Normally she let things flow and wing most of her moves, but she had quickly realized that with Callum, she needed to stay at least two steps ahead.
Halfway through her planning, he had returned with the food, and they ate, chatting and laughing the whole time. When they finished, she had thanked him politely, telling him that she had some errands to run, and watched him leave, a smirk growing on her face. Turning and leaving for the only safe place she knew, she left for the cave for some time alone.
