It's good to see you again . ( Thana & Tess )

It had been almost a month into the new school year, and on a free weekend she decided to see if she could meet up with her friend, Tess. She had sent a letter asking if they could meet at the Magic McDonalds, or as her inner Australian called it 'Maccas'. Thana knew Tess would of been able to come up with her brother one weekend and so she sat waiting to see her friend again, they had arranged to have lunch and talk. About what Thana wasn't yet entirely sure, but Thana knew it would be a good talk regardless. She walked in and sat at a booth, patiently waiting for Tess to arrive.

Tess had taken up the offer to head to Salem with her brother for business. He was going to do something to check out the state of reconstruction while she would explore America a bit more. She had written Thana about the fact that she was visiting Salem and she had taken her up on her offer of having lunch.

Walking down the straight to the equivalent of Hogsmeade she couldn't help but be a bit disturbed realizing that the establishment she had agreed to meet her at was definitely not high class. Sliding her sunglasses from her face she studied the place and sighed. Taking out a cloth from her bag she grabbed the handle and pulled it open, entering a place she'd never heard of before.

Turning to her left she immediately saw Thana there and smiled softly. Walking over to her she sat down across from the girl and grinned.

"Long time no see, how is Salem treating you?"

"Long time no see, how is Salem treating you?"
Thana quickly turned to see her friend sitting across from her, "Salem is fine, how is Hogwarts?" Thana replied, "Sorry about the choice, it was either here or one of the pubs. I don't want a lady like yourself associating in those." she explained kindly at her choice of meeting place. It wasn't that bad, it was clean and tidy and the food was good, just not the expensive restaurants that Thana was sure Tess was used to.

Tess waved off her comment about what place she chose. The mention of pubs was enough for her to prefer this place over any dirty pub. She knew she was pampered, there was no denying it, yet she found this place a bit charming...in an eclectic kind of tacky way. No harm she supposed.

"You made a right choice to choose this over a pub, so I appreciate it. As I was saying, Hogwarts is still the same as always, except for a new head boy and transfers from Salem. Why did you choose to come here anyways?" she asked curiously.

Thana listened as Tess explained her preference and Hogwarts, at the question of transferring Thana didn't really know how to answer. However she knew Tess deserved the truth, slowly fidgeting she answered. "Salem just seemed the better choice, there was too much negativity at Hogwarts..especially after the battle, I just needed a fresh start away from... stress.. " Thana explained awkwardly, she didn't want to involve Tess in her family troubles. " Are you ready to order? We have to go to the counter and pick what you want." she informed her friend, ready to move on.
