Background: Marie was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in Paris, France. She was the youngest child of two, and the only female of her family. At the age of sixteen she was arranged for marriage with Alec Holmes, who she married right after graduation. As any good pureblood, it was accepted and their union soon turned into love. It was a mutual respect and he let her have the freedom to do what she pleased, and she began a fashion magazine. At nineteen they had their only child being Sherringford Holmes, naming him after Alec’s father. She tended to be a bit detached mother, but loved in the best way she possibly could.
But in her heart, she wanted to take advantage of her freedom to make a career. In her early twenties she was the first CEO of the highly popular fashion magazine and her husband took care of the finances, she did the fashion. She made popular dresses, coats, cloaks, and said what was in and what wasn’t . Once her child was old enough he was sent to school and she concentrated all the more in her career.
Now that she is in her mid-sixties, she has in no plans of slowing down. In fact she’s grown in power and celebrity status.
