A Little Bit Bored With Nothing To Do And Dangerous Thoughts (Open)

Violet went for walks when she got bored. Lately, she'd been finding it hard to keep her mind occupied. Everything was so mundane, so repetitive, it was enough to make a person mad. She needed stimulation, and entertainment at the moment, and despite the castle's breathtaking features, nothing was helping.

She walked up the spiral stairs to the Astronomy Tower, looking out at the view of the grounds. She saw the lake and the forest, and it was a pretty cool view to take in, but yet it still didn't cure her boredom. As she leant her elbows on the railing, and looked down, the thought of how easily she'd be able to get away if she pushed someone from here flashed in her mind. They'd certainly die, no one would survive that long a fall. And the tower was usually empty. As long as no one knew she'd meet said person, she'd almost certainly get away. "And if I don't, then they merely slipped," she murmured to herself quietly out loud, allowing a smirk to grace her lips.

Shiva quietly made her way up to the Astronomy tower and when she got there she saw a young Hufflepuff standing there looking out to the view. Shiva heard her say something and had to admit she was a little stunned that a young girl thought about such things as that. Shiva cleared her throat, she debated whether or not she was going to speak but decided what the hell? Mind as well.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Shiva smirked.

"Penny for your thoughts?"

She didn't bother turning around for the voice, she didn't care to. "Oh you know," she said in a voice a little louder so the girl could hear "Normal twelve-year-old girl things, like homicide," she plastered a sweet smile upon her face and turned to face the girl, who she recognised to be an older Hufflepuff "And what of your thoughts?" she asked, propping her elbows on the railing and leaning back casually.

Shiva was a little taken back by her answer. The little girl was either kidding or dead serious, nevertheless Shiva would have to keep her eyes open for this girl. Shiva walked closer. "Seems you have a lot on your mind then" she was slightly amused. The Hufflepuff was asked by her fellow Hufflepuff about her thoughts and she shrugged. "You know, girl stuff like my boyfriend and school. Normal things" Shiva answered.

"Seems you have a lot on your mind then"

"I would like to think I have a lot going on up here," she tapped her temple with her finger "But then again, everyone thinks they do, and quite often their wrong," she replied to the girl "Perhaps the cause right now is mere boredom, who really knows, I could be completely psychotic and not even realise," she smirked slightly.

"You know, girl stuff like my boyfriend and school. Normal things"

"Just normal girl things aye?" she asked "Yeah, you'll find a lot of girls thinking about those things... You're thinking about your boyfriend, why aren't you with him then?" she asked casually, making 'normal' conversation.

Shiva had to admit the young girl was right about how some people thought that they had something going on in their head when really half of the time they were wrong. "Well a lot of people do think that and I think they just want some sort of pity" Shiva gave her input. When the younger Hufflepuff said that about herself, Shiva shook her head. "You're not though."

When she asked how come Shiva wasn't with David she answered. "Because he graduated last year and is becoming an Auror as we speak, well trying to."

"You're not though."

"You'd be surprised," she smirked, but didn't elaborate. She'd let the girl take it as she did, but wouldn't explain it, not properly at least.

She heard the older girl explain how her boyfriend had graduated, and was planning on becoming an auror "Apparently, it's quite difficult to get into auroring," she stated "So it surprises me that he has any time for a girlfriend at the moment,"

Shiva didn't think this girl was half bad but when the fellow Hufflepuff said how Shiva would be surprised, she nodded. "Maybe" was all she said to the younger girl.

Shiva snorted. This girl was right about being an Auror and dating, it was difficult and she knew it but they were making it work. "That's true but we're making it work."

"That's true but we're making it work."

"Best of luck to the both of you for 'making it work'" she said, a smirk touching her voice "Especially with the fact that you can't see each other that often. I mean, must be truly difficult not knowing what he's doing. Because you know how fickle some people can be..." she trailed off. Obviously, she didn't know anything, she merely thought it amusing to mess with people in that way. It only took a seed of insinuation for it to grow in ones mind. She knew that from experience.

When she wished both Shiva and David the best of luck, she nodded and kindly grinned. "Thank you, we shall need luck and I know how people can be but David isn't a fickle person and I trust him completely. Yes it is difficult to not see him and barely talk because he is busy and I respect that. So what about you? Do you have any guys you're interested in? There has to be someone" Shiva asked her. The young girl seemed to be a catch.

"So what about you? Do you have any guys you're interested in? There has to be someone"

"Oh god no," she said, making a face "No all the guys I know in the school are utter idiots," it was true, she had no interest whatsoever in dating or anything like that. Her interests we the ones not typical of a girl of twelve, things like finding cheap ways to earn money. Dating was right at the back of her mind, if there at all. And it was a scarce chance that she'd date any boy from school, even if she did become interested.

Shiva couldn't help but be highly amused by her response. It was very typical for young girls, they may have crushes but they never act on anything until they're older. "Well then I feel sorry for those boys" Shiva replied. The young girl looked like a catch and wished her well in the future. The Hufflepuff looked fairly capable of being able to handle herself.

"Well then I feel sorry for those boys"

"Why waste energy feeling pity or sorrow for morons?" she asked. It was rhetorical, and she didn't expect an answer "They're not worth your thoughts." she added with a shrug and wandered away from the edge "Personally, I reckon you don't need a partner to be happy. And if you need one to feel happiness, generally, you're desperate with low self-esteem and a low sense of worth," she said it casually, the sting in her choice of words rather than her tone. She looked at the witch for her reaction.
