Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
The common room was so quiet. To be honest, for the little blonde third year, it was quite frightening. She had gotten used to the various noises in the common room. The mesmerizing scratching of a quill on parchment, the rather robust shouts of participants in an intellectual debate -Merlin knows how many of these things had suddenly been engaged in the common room - the whispering, just... Everything.
With a sigh, Elysia ran a hand through her blond locks, toussling her hair as she looked around, "Urgh. Weekends.", she mumbled to herself. Oh, well. At least, now she knew that Ravens aren't that much different from the kids from the other houses. They didn't hole themselves up on a weekend.
"Oh, hello there.", Ely greeted, spying someone reading. She really didn't notice before. Maybe, she was too overwhelmed by the silence. Oh, well.
"You're in my year, aren't you?"
