After spending almost a whole week inside of the castle, doing nothing but homework, Quidditch planning and dealing with other people's problems, Mary needed to get out. It was becoming insufferable inside, even if she had a variety of rooms to spend her time in. She was in a foul temper, everything and everyone was annoying and after she snapped at some first year who accidentally blew up a pillow, Mary decided to go for a walk.
She walked down to the pitch and frowned at herself for forgetting her broom. It'd be so nice to fly around without worrying for her entire team for once. Flying just for fun and not having to yell at her Beaters for not focusing on where they sent the Bludgers.
Just as the witch was contemplating going back for her broom, she saw someone flying around. She walked closer and squinted up at the sky to see who it was. They were too far up above and she couldn't see. The witch sat on the stands for a few minutes, enjoying the breeze and just breathing. It was so nice to take a break from things and even though it was tempting to go running or do some sort of training right now, she forced herself to just sit there. After a while, she heard someone land on the ground, but she was too comfortable in her little bubble to open her eyes and see. Whoever it was, if they wanted to talk to her, they could.
