Waking up ( Brayden)

Jaden knew where she was and what happened to her. She couldn't help but think about the others that was there with her. But right now she was glad that she was alive. And she knew that Sadie had been owl that she had woken up. The one person that she wanted to see beside her sister was Brayden. She really missed her best friend and hoped that he would come see her. Right now she was really messed up because of everything that happened. And she knew that she would never be normal. Or she wouldn't be the sweet, innocence Jaden. But she would so how figure out how to make things work. She knew one day she would have to tell her husband about this. This was something that was making Jaden not want to go ahead with the arrange marriage. She wanted to marry someone who would make her happy, and knew what happened.

She knew that it was summer. So she couldn't really work on her flowers. Unless she was to stay with Sadie after she was a loud to leave. But she knew that her parents would want her home. Saying that she needed to stay safe for her future husband. Who it was seeing like didn't really care about Jaden. Because she had no idea who he was. She was lying in her bed thinking about everything.

Brayden had gotten word that his friend Jaden was in the hospital and he wanted to be there for her. They were friends after all and it would be entirely wrong if he never even went to visit her once. When he got there he saw that she was still unconscious. This was his first time being there, it wasn't that he didn't want to be there but with his family going on vacation and helping his cousin trying to find his child that the mother had taken from him, it was a busy time.

"Hey Jaden, its me Brayden. Sorry I didn't come sooner" he began with. "Its not that I didn't want to but I just had a lot of other family drama going on that I didn't have a chance to" Brayden explained.

Jaden was now waking up and she then listen as she heard Brayden. She was still a little weak from everything that happened to her. But she was glad that her friend was there with her. It made her feel better and she wished that she wasn't in this arrange marriage. Right now she just wanted to marry her best friend. But she knew that she was too young to be thinking like that. But she wouldn't mind dating Brayden. But she knew one day she would have to break it off. But did she really want to listen to her parents. And she knew that Sadie would stand behind her whatever she choose to do. Just like Jaden wanted to open her own flower shop. Because she really loved working with the roses and the other flowers that she grew. But right now she was going in her third year.

“ Brayden! I am glad that you are here.” She was smiling cause her best friend made everything better. “ Don't worry about it, I am just glad that you came at all. I know Sadie been with me every few second she got away from work.” She knew that life was too short and knew that she was going to have to take some chances.

Brayden was kind of shocked that Jaden actually woke up for him, he didn't think she would. Well he knew she would wake up but he thought she'd wake up for her sister or one of her parents or both of them actually. The Belladonna smirked at her. "I'm glad to see your green eyes, they are always a nice sight to see" he complimented her gorgeous green eyes.

"I didn't see anyone from your family here when I came in, its empty out in the waiting room which is kind of shocking if you ask me" he said to her.

Jaden couldn't help but laugh when he said that he was glad to see her green eyes. She was glad that Brayden was here. He then said that he didn't see any of her family. “ Yeah Sadie is at the school getting the hospital wing ready for school. And then my parents blamed what happened on me. That I should have been more careful. They said that my future husband wouldn't be too happy if he found out that I was hurt. And he might called off the marriage. My parents are nutcase, I just want to say screw this arrange marriage. Let me fall in love with whoever I want.”

She was only in her third year, but she was tired of her parents trying to rule her life. Jaden wanted to live her life how she wanted to.

Brayden felt really terrible for Jaden, he could see that she tried her hardest to make her parents happy but they just didn't care to give her credit and treated her like some fancy trophy that they needed to keep safe for her future husband. "I'm sorry that they think that but I can honestly tell you that it wasn't your fault that this happened" Brayden tried to remind her that this happened and that there was nothing that anyone could do about it and it wasn't her fault.

"So are you coming back to school once you've recovered fully?" He asked.

Jaden was tired of trying to please everybody. But she was glad that Brayden was here. “ Yeah Sadie told me that it wasn't and there was nothing that I could have done to make it not happen. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I know my parents sort of blame her because I was going to the quidditch pitch to practice with Sadie. They want me to have nothing with the sport anymore. But I am still on the house team.” Now all she could do was to recover. She knew that there was be someone at school who would understand what she went through. And hoped that they could get heal together.

“ Yeah I know Sadie is going to have me go and stay at the hospital wing. I need to also tend to my flowers, which I am sure that they are dead.” But she was ready to get out of her and just get back to her normal life.

Brayden felt terrible for the girl laying in a hospital bed in front of him. He didn't know what he could say or do that would help her with what she was going through. Jaden was a strong person from what he has seen but he also knew that every girl was sensitive in their own way and that her parents blaming her most likely hurt her in a way. "Don't let them blame your sister either, it was neither of your faults, what happened to you was a tragedy and you cannot take it back, just keep going forward" Brayden encouraged her, or at least tried to. The Belladonna grabbed her hand and placed a light kiss on the back of her palm.

"I can always buy you new flowers if you need them" Brayden smirked.

Jaden was just laying there. Sadie told her that this wasn't her fault either. “ Sadie told me that was something that we couldn't predict. That it would have happened to somebody and I was just there at the wrong time.” She then sighed because she didn't like how her parents were treating her. “ I really don't want to go through with this arranged marriage. I don't want to marry someone who doesn't even care about me. I was so sure that he would be here with me but nobody has showed up. I don't want to be a trophy anymore.” She then smiled as Brayden grabbed the back of her hand and kissed it. And he said that he would buy her new flowers if she needed them.

“ Thank you Brayden but you don't have to do that. I am sure that Sadie took care of them. But I know that I need to take them to Greenswich village to sell some of them.”
