| Kira was standing on the patch of grass, smiling with her face turned to the rare sun ray. Nature was beginning to wake up and it was beautiful to watch. If Kira hadn't been so busy with planning lessons and taking care of grounds for two schools, she'd spend her days just watching plants grow and enjoying the sunshine. It was getting warmer too, at Salem more significantly than Hogwarts, but it was pleasant everywhere.
The only damper on spring was the kidnapping of students and when Kira wasn't worrying about the creatures on the grounds, she was worrying about Diem and when she was at Salem, she kept checking up on her daughter. She felt incredibly sorry for the kids that were kidnapped and for their parents and friends and all in all, it was a horrible thing.
There were large turtle-like creatures with bejeweled shells walking slowly around Kira as she waited for her students and enjoyed the sun. The fire crabs were particularly happy this morning and the Professor took that as a very good thing.

| Brayden got closer to the class and instantly saw what would be learned that day, he thought that those turtle like Creatures looked absolutely amazing and he grew excited from seeing it. "Hi Professor Reid, these things look cool" he commented on what he thought the lesson would be which it most likely would be. | |

| Ares made his was to the class, his thoughts weren't on a lesson but more of his personal life, he threw those thoughts out of his head and got to his class that he had that time of day. "Morning Professor Reid" he greeted to the woman, he looked at Brayden and smirked. "Sup Bray?" He greeted to his friend. The curiosity got the best of Ares because he looked at what they'd be learning that day and was quite intrigued. | |

| "Hello Mr. Count. They do, don't they! Gorgeous little things." Kira smiled fondly at the Fire Crabs and then at the young Belladonna. It was so great to see students excited about lessons. "Morning, Mr. Oxton." she greeted the Wormwood as he arrived.
After a few minutes, when it didn't look like anyone else would show up, the Professor turned to the two boys. A class was a class, even with only two students. "Can either of you tell me what they are? And the other one something about them, please."

| Brayden was glad that Ares was there with him. He didn't want to have to be the only person there but he wasn't anymore. Professor Reid began her class and he instantly shot his hand up in the air to answer the question. "They're Fire Crabs" he answered honestly. He loved those things, they were completely cool but he had never seen one up close and personal before. | |

| "Thank you, Mr Count. Take 5 points for Belladonna." Kira smiled at the boy. None of the others seemed to be eager to speak up, so she decided to move things along.
"As you can see, their shells are very valuable, so as you might have guessed, a lot of people want to get them. They have a defence mechanism, though and shoot fire out of their backsides if they feel threatened. Pretty cool, eh?" Kira grinned at her students. "However, they can harm themselves while doing that."
She gently picked one of the Fire Crabs up and turned it upside down for the students to see the burnt part of the animal. It looked quite gross, to be honest, but Kira wasn't phased, as she's seen a lot worse in her training. "Luckily we have a paste that makes the burn better." The Professors bent down to take one bottle of the paste in her hands and then applied it gently on the damaged skin.
"If you could please each take one of the Crabs and do the same."
