Herbology/DADA Team Four (Kedzie, Eris, James, Bryson)

As they were all separated, Eris groaned at the thought of teamwork. She wasn't fond of working with others let alone when it came to this task. Camping?! Really? The only thing of hers that touched the ground were her shoes, and that was about it. She tried to be mature about this, but the fact that she was teamed up with people she didn't know did annoy her. Especially when Benjamin was grouped with the mouse.

Turning to her group, she ignored the fact that once their names was repeated Iris, was said rather than her name. She said nothing instead made it clear, that her name wasEris. Still, she cleared her throat making it clear that she wanted attention.

"So, this is shit, we need to find a shelter, preferably a flatter surface to avoid discomfort and enough things to create a comfortable shelter along with fire. Any suggestions?"

Bryson could tell that this Eris girl was going to be a fun addition (not really) he wasn't used to girls being this snobby, boys yes, girls.. nope. When she suggested a flat surface so they wouldn't have to deal with being sore, he had to agree. Sometimes he'd have to patrol these the front of the forest so there were no students so he knew a good place. "There is actually a good place not that far from here, its completely flat and will do justice" Bryson spoke up. Being a Prefect had its perks.

Kedzie was really the only real young person there. She was with all the older kids but she didn't care, she loved being around people she hadn't really met before. When she saw that they would be staying out there in the woods for a night, she was a little scared. Kedzie didn't like the forbidden forest but she had to do this and besides she was with three others. When the Gryffindor boy suggested a place, she just waited for him to show them. Kedzie took notice that he was a Gryffindor Prefect.

James couldn't help the easy smirk that crept up his face at hearing the teams. Sure, he wasn't paired with his little pet, but neither was Eris. And as much as he didn't like the idea of Tess being in any proximity of Watson, he knew it would irk both girls far more than it would him. He'd played everything perfectly, keeping Tess ignorant and exactly where he wanted her, so he needn't worry about on night in the woods. Not when he saw the fools they were paired with.

Not that he was in much better company. He'd seen the girl and boy around, yes, but they were nothing important to him. Eris, however, would prove to be entertaining, if nothing else.

Following the others as they started moving off on their own, James picked up more snow and formed it into an ice ball. It gave him something to play with while he left he work to the others. Could he survive out here on his own? Definitely. Would he help others do so? Not likely.

He heard Eris and the Gryffindor talking about shelter and whatnot. His eyes fell on the small girl next to him and he pulled on his nicest smile. "Don't worry," he whispered, "we'll do just fine." His face was a perfect example of ease and good nature.

Eris sighed as only one person was talking. Typical really, she got stuck with a motley crew of children. One Gryffindor, who's most positive feature was being a Granger, one child that looked like she could pass out at any moment, and a smug James who just looked relaxed. She was already done with this whole thing before it even started. She knew she should have just ditched class.

Rubbing her temples she sighed knowing that there wasn't much to do and nodded.

"Fine, lead us to the place, and on the way we should look for something to eat, something to start a fire, and basically anything that we can scratch off the orders" she wasn't going to touch a single thing. Honestly the things she did to graduate.

Bryson could tell that the older girl who was a Slytherin wasn't really happy with the whole thing and she had a right to because this was the Forbidden forest. "Okay, lets go before it gets too dark" he led the way. He never really spoken to any of the members from his team but he could tell they all felt different about this assignment.
