Charms (4th-6th years)

Katherine knew that this lesson would be sort of tricky and she had gotten permission to use the spell she was going to teach to her students. The blonde walked into the classroom and waited for her students to arrive, she didn't know who would come back to her classroom this year, but she was hoping for some sort of great progress with her classes. Katherine had a feeling some of her students heard of this spell, but she wasn't completely sure. Their lesson was on the Levicorpus charm.

How did any student manage to take every class and not be completely drained by the end of the year Louise would never know. She approached the charms class and stepped inside, noting she was the first one in she nodded to the professor and took a seat near the front, taking out her wand and text book before waiting patiently for others to arrive. She tried to organise her schedule in her head working out when and where she'd study for all the extra lessons she was taking. Perhaps she should get a diary or organiser for herself on their next Hogsmead trip?

Mavis woke up early that morning due to her brother's owl, god she wanted to punch him in the face. So here she was walking to Charms tired as hell and in a bad mood. Mavis hated mornings, she was more of a night person. Mavis walked in and practically snorted when she saw that the class was full of Slytherins. If she was in a good mood she'd actually comment, but since she was highly annoyed, she just ignored everyone and took an empty seat.

Shawn was still getting accustomed to his new position as one of the Hufflepuff prefects. It wasn't so much that he minded helping out and putting in the extra work, just something else that he had to work into his schedule he wasn't used to yet. Walking into Charms, he found that three Slytherins were already there. Because he didn't really know any of them other than in passing, Shawn took a seat off towards the right edge of the classroom and waited for the lesson to begin.

Satcy could still stay so happy as possible here in school since she liked being here more than home. So far no one haven't changed that for her, she really haven't met so far no one who makes her sad or even unhappy. She walked into the charms classroom and saw once again the students who she really didn't know. She took a seat some where middle of classroom. Of course she did greet professor too.

Charms was her favourite class, and Brooke held a smile when she walked in. Taking a seat in the front row, she said a greeting to the Professor. Looking at the board to see what spell she would be learning, she was slightly confused to see that it read, "Levicorpus", for she had just learnt that the previous day in her DADA class.

Disappointed that she would not be learning anything particularly knew, she began to remove her materials from her bag. In any case, she thought, it would be good practise to see the spell from another person's point of view.

Joe was glad to see a familiar face as he entered into his Charms class. He liked Professor Zanderson, quite a lot actually. She used to be a student, and in his house too. That reaffirmed his liking towards her. The woman was lovely; she was a very kindhearted person, he remembered that about her. Sitting himself down and lightly placing his bag on the floor, the black haired boy smiled at her.

Looking around, the Hufflepuff noticed a few familiar faces from former years. For the most part, the students he saw were quite nice, and he was pleased to see a few new people there too. One girl in particular caught his eye; a girl in a Gryffindor uniform. He wasn't quite sure what caught his attention, but there was definitely something... He turned his focus back to the board to take in the lesson plan and muttered levicorpus under his breath, thinking for a few seconds. Yes, he had read about that one over the summer.

Joe had read about most things over the summer, to be fair. It wasn't exactly very interesting being an only child. In a muggle neighbourhood. With no friends to talk to. And no-one to write to him this year... He let out a light sigh, good mood slowly starting to dissipate as her name formed in his head. Morgan... Joe really missed her.

So, so very much.

Carly walked in quickly giving a quick wave to the professor she was good at charms not as good as she would like to be but she was horrible. She took her seat quickly looking around she didn't know anyone so she just looked down at her desk waiting for the class to begin and hoping she would be good at charms.

Lucy was happy to be back at school, and happy that next on her schedule was Charms class. She was finding it (for now) a breeze to keep up with all the work that came with being a prefect. She enjoyed staying busy. She walked into the classroom, seeing how many students had arrived, and automatically sought out Shawn. She felt herself grin, as being around him just made her happy. With her usual air of confidence, she walked over and took the seat next to him "Hey Thimble," she murmured to him.

Her eyes found the board, and she greeted the teacher happily. Today, they'd be learning about Levicorpus, which she found very interesting.

Charms was always a fun class, and Cassidy was happy to take it. She made her way into the classroom promptly, and noticed that quite a few people were already there. She looked around for an empty seat, and found one at the front of the class. "Hi Professor, good summer?" she asked brightly as she waited for class to begin.

Alyson loved Charms, it was a great class and was happy to be able to take it. The one thing that would disappoint Alyson would have to be when she graduated from the school. She loved being up to be at school and learning new things. When Alyson entered the classroom, she looked around and saw familiar faces once again. Alyson spotted Cassidy and decided to sit with her. Alyson walked and took the empty seat next to her. "Hey" she said to her fellow Gryffindor.

Bryson yawned, he had not gotten enough sleep like he was supposed to. The Gryffindor prefect had stayed up reading and before he knew it, it was passed curfew and he had went to sleep after finishing a chapter. Bryson walked into Charms and saw that the classroom was half way to being packed. Bryson took an empty seat.

Thana walked into charms, noticing people were already there. She didn't mind, as long as she wasn't late. She walked in and had a look around, looking for someone to sit with. So far she hadn't seen anyone she knew, so she sat down in the back of the classroom and waited. She pulled out her gear, and go ready. She was pretty good at charms, it wasn't her favourite subject. But she still liked it anyway.

Shiva walked into the classroom and looked around, there were a few familiar faces that Shiva attended classes with the previous year but not much. The Hufflepuff took a seat and waited for the Professor to begin her class. While waiting her mind drifted to her summer, her parents had been pissed when they found out that she had snuck out and went to David's for the remainder of the summer even though they told her no. What they didn't understand was that Shiva wanted to go and David had been an entire gentleman before she had to go home so she could get to school.

These years always was her most popular classes, there always was a lot of students who would come in and learn and she was extremely grateful for that. Katherine didn't think anyone else would come to her class and she decided that this was the best time to begin her class. "Welcome back everyone, I hope you had a good summer, today's lesson will be on the Levicorpus Charm. I know that some of you will be learning this in DADA and that is a good thing. But who can tell me what this Charm is?"

Alyson listened to Professor Harrisson begin class and she was all ears on this one. When she asked about the Charm, Alyson raised her hand to answer the question. "The Levicorpus Charm is where is causes a victim to be put in the air by their ankles. In a way it could be helpful but not really that much" Alyson answered the question.

Katherine saw a hand being raised and looked to the Gryffindor girl Alyson as she answered what Katherine had asked. When the girl finished talking and lowered her hand, Katherine spoke. "That is correct Alyson, 10 points to Gryffindor. Now for 5 points towards their house, can someone that is not Alyson who just answered tell me who was the creator of that particular spell?" Katherine asked looking to someone who hadn't answered.

Louise had only been half paying attention till the Professor asked who the creator of the Levicorpus spell was, she knew this one easily enough. "Professor Snape, Miss. He created the spell when he himself was a student at Hogwarts, unfortunately some Death eaters began using the spell as a form of torture." She answered and then wished she hadn't gone on so much and just given the immediate answer.

When Louise Grey answered her next question about who had created the spell, Katherine nodded. "Correct, 5 points to Slytherin" before she could continue on with the lesson, Josh Murray began to speak. Katherine listened to what he had to say and she thought about it for a brief second before she spoke. "It doesn't matter if the answer was lacking anything, the important thing is that Alyson knows what the spell does. Your answer can lack but to a certain point. I will accept her answer along with yours, so 7 points to Slytherin for the continuation of the answer that Alyson... Lacked" Katherine explained to not only him but to the class. Katherine wasn't a harsh Professor, but the answer was good enough for her to accept along with both Slytherins who had answered.

"So today we will be doing this spell. I need two volunteers to come and show me this spell and have it done correctly" Katherine waited for two volunteers.

Louise was listening to the exchange between Josh and the Professor, trying not to smile at Josh's antics. She might dislike him at the moment but she found his disdain funny when not directed at her. When he growled for her to stand she did so without a sound and followed him to the front of the room and faced him, not quite making eye contact, more looking just over his left shoulder at the opposite wall, waiting for instructions, she felt on edge and would have preferred to take the first shot, she didn't like the idea of being turned upside down, and especially not with a skirt on. An idea popped into her head and she was damn sure she'd be paying for it later but she was still pissed off with him so seeing her chance she raised her wand and all but shouted. "Levicorpis!" She was fighting to keep a smile off her face but it only half worked as the corner of her lips twitched into a smirk.

Stacy did sat there quietly and listened what others said. She also looked what Josh and Louise did. She really didn't want to draw today much attention in this class for her. She some reason didn't want it suddenly. She hoped that she doesn't have to this spell on someone soon. She wasn't sure if she will do it right or not.
