Personality: Angelo is flirtatious and enjoys setting other people on edge. He is kind and gentle to children and fiercely loyal and protective of those he loves, although he doesn't love easily. He is more at peace with himself without his powers because they are not fighting for dominance within him, but even after his rebirth, he can still be subject to random moodswings and although he voluntarily gave them up, he misses his powers.
Background: Angelo and his sister Angel were conceived and later born in Tripoli, Italy. Their mother was an angel and their father was a demon, but the twins knew little other than that. Their mother named them and left them in a wizarding orphanage as soon as they were born. He got to know his mother better after his death.
The kids were raised in the ohanage until they were 9, then were adopted by a witch and wizard couple who brought them to Spain. The kids were safe and well provided for with the couple, but they sometimes scared the pair with constant mood swings and outbreaks of angel or demon magic.
Angelo was torn by his Lugarmago acceptance letter. He was excited to learn magic, but he was apprehensive of the reaction the other children would have towards them. Though he's never really hidden the fact that he's half angel, half demon, he doesn't really volunteer the information without being asked. He and his sister struggled to learn to control their powers and emotions.
After Angelo died in the Battle of Lugarmago, he was raised into Heaven with his mother for his heroic death to protect another. There, he was unhappy, pining for the world and the people he left behind, especially Lucelia, Angel, and Azalea. His mother, who couldn't abide to see him suffering, offered him the chance to return to Earth in a mortal body, like his own, which had been raised directly into Heaven after his death, but without the powers he had previously possessed. He would be just like every other witch and wizard and would remain that way until his death. Though he was unsure how he would cope without his powers, he chose to return to Earth and is ready to see what of his old life he can salvage.

Family Background: Gabriel and Appolin met in Italy, both in human form and sent for their own purpose. They were supposed to fight each other, but they had a romantic history from when Appolin was a heavenly angel and not fallen. They couldn't fight each other and instead fell to their emotions, having a one night stand and returning to their missions as though they had not met. When Gabriel discovered she was pregnant, she immediately begged for and received forgiveness (though her transgression had already been noticed) on the grounds that the babies be taken to Earth and left there when they were born. Appolin's mistake had also been noticed, but he was severely punished. Both parents had to agree not to visit their children while on Earth.
When Rosa and Rodrigo Lopez realized that they would be unable to have children, they decided to adopt. Rosa had always loved Italy, so they decided to get a child from Italy. They met the D' Monica children and immediately wanted to take them home.
