Elysia is often depicted to be the perfect little ice princess, in terms of appearance, with her bright golden curls, pale skin and alarmingly blue eyes framed by long lashes. She stands at around 5 feet with a petite/slightly-athletic build. She is often seen wearing clothes that are both comfortable and suited to the current climate. (i.e. shorts and a tanktop when it's hot; denim jeans, a thick sweater, warm boots, gloves and scarf for cold times.) She combines practicality, comfort and fashion in her style of clothing.

Like most girls, Elysia has both her ears pierced. When she's in a particular mood, she

Elysia is often described to be temperamental by nature. She is inclined to act differently towards others depending on her mood, the circumstance, as well as her familiarity of the person in question. At first sight, she is usually described by most as the quiet and shy girl that may or may not be insecure and usually keeps to herself.
Background:
Elysia was born on the 1st of October during the year 2000. She was raised as the first and most probably the only child of Alina and Gideon Valdis. She was brought up in a magical household and therefore had access to books that were magical by nature. A fact that she greatly abused as soon as she could 'read the big books like momma and daddy'.
During her infant years, her parents incorporated many techniques, both magical and muggle, to raise her intelligent. One of her favorite techniques was the one her father used to teach her about colors (by using colored mists that burst from his wand then quickly disappeared after). Alongside these lessons, her grandfather taught her to read books, both magical and muggle.
Suffice to say, her whole life has been safe and, with the exception of all the events that magic can create, rather dull. Which is why she looks forward to attending school, to meet other people her age and possibly find at least a little bit of action there.

Gabriel Valdis was a Gryffindor during his school years. He broke the Valdis mould and married a muggleborn. He eventually sired Gideon Valdis, Elysia's father. The Valdis family fought for the Light during the first wizarding war. Gabriel lost his wife to battle and has since vowed that no Valdis, pure or not, would be left without the knowledge of fighting - both muggle and magical.
Gideon Valdis was a Gryffindor and had married a muggleborn. Both eventually sired Elysia in a time wherein the Dark Lord was no more. The Valdis family fought for the Light during the second wizarding war.
The Valdis are often depicted to be a neutral family containing a fair amount of purebloods, half-bloods and squibs. Their alignment changes when a member of their family is threatened or when the current head of House deems it fit to change. The Valdis are intelligent and brave people. Often the people sired from this family go on to become professional Quidditch players, curse breakers, professors, duelling experts and the like.
