Background: Esme was born in León,Spain,where her mother lived.Her father had gone on a trip that lasted over a year,and her mother was never able to tell her father that she was pregnant.When he finally returned,and learned about his little angel,he was so happy that he bought a house for them in Barcelona,a bigger city,so that Esme would have more space to play.A large garden,and as many toys as she wished.Her parents loved her to death,and adored spoiling her,but her mother didn't like it that she was too spoiled sometimes.
Growing up wasn't a problem.She might have been a troublemaker,but never really caused major problems.She was clumsy sometimes,so her parents kept her away from really expensive things,because they would always end up broken.Except that,she was a quiet and sweet little girl..until her letter from Lugarmago arrived.
From the moment she went to school,Esme became a worse troublemaker.She liked to have her fun,and became cunning and sly.She wanted everything her way,though she was still the sweet cute girl she had always been.Pranks didn't fascinate her,but alluring people to pass the time was one of her favorite hobbies.
