"... Yours always, Jake..." she murmured, smiling to herself before leaning over to kiss him soundly, sighing in relief, "Mine always," she mused, "That's a relief, I was hoping you were," The words were soft and light, happy with the simple notion of belonging to each other in some way. But there was still a box to open and a pretty frame peeked out as she gently opened the lid.

"Oh, Jake..." she whispered, surprised and honestly touched. She knew that he truly meant his words and gestures, because Marilyn had learned over their time both together and as friends, that these things seemed genuinly difficult for the man and thus meant so much more to Marilyn than she could possibly express. Frame still in one hand she moved up to wrap her arms around him and hug him tightly before pressing a meaningful kiss to his lips, "Thank you," the witch whispered, "I love it. You're..." she struggled to find words as she pulled back slightly to look him in the eyes, unable to find the way to voice how she felt, so instead Mari simply hoped he understood and changed course, "You're going to have to help me fill that." She grinned, pulling him closer again after carefully placing the frame on her nightstand, biting her lip as she kissed him again, savouring the taste that was unique to him.
