Personality: Alfie appears cold, cynical, malicious, bitter and sarcastic. He had a commanding presence that exuded authority and control. He has the ability to keep a person quiet without much effort. He tends to hold grudges and is extremely spiteful toward those whom he disliked. In particular, he disdained anybody who was or is in Gryffindor considering them to be arrogant and attention-seeking. His social interactions as a child suggest that he had poor interpersonal skills.
Background: Alfie is the youngest child of two, with his older sister being Romilda. His parents were both cold and cruel halfbloods, and as a result Alfie developed a cold and mistrusting personality, as well as being socially awkward rather much like his sister, except she had the ability to be warm at times unlike Alfie.
As a child he never had many friends as for he would constantly bully or make fun of anyone around him. When he attended Hogwarts he was sorted into Slytherin, this was normal since his whole family was in Slytherin except for Romilda. Throughout his schooling he only had two real friends, but even then he preferred to spend time just by himself. He did quite well in school but his best subject was potions, despite he really disliked the subject.
After graduating Alfie wanted to go to wizarding college to study advanced Transfiguration and teaching, however he did not recieve higher enough marks, so instead he went into advanced potions and teaching, he loathed the entire four years he spent there, but despite this he achieved outstanding results and was top of all his classes.
Once he completed his degree, he saw there was ad in the daily prophet for potions master at Hogwarts, he knew that the money was good and was probably the best job he was going to get, so he applied for the position.
