Desdemona walked into the Great Hall, quite ready for eggs, bacon, and pumpkin juice. She loved breakfast more than any other meal, and was glad that Hogwarts always had a good, hot one ready. She made her way over to the Slytherin table and sat down, piling eggs and bacon onto her plate and digging in immediately. After eating a plate with gusto, she filled up another and sat back to relax and eat slowly. She didn't have any classes this morning, so she felt like taking her time. "Oh, look... the post." Although she didn't expect anything from home, Desdemona scanned the incoming owls for one from her mother or father; seeing nothing, she turned back to her breakfast and took a bite of bacon before reaching into her bag and grabbing her Potions book for some studying.
