PostSubject: Defence Against the Dark Arts - Lesson Three (All Years)   Sat Nov 01, 2014 11:11 am

Seeing as it was the end of the year, Jake had planned one big lesson for the end of term. Pulling together everything he'd taught, and possibly bringing in work from other subjects. He hoped that the students were going to enjoy themselves, but it remained to be seen. March was in the air by now, and Jake was very close to completing the permanent move to England with Marilyn, so he was in high spirits.

Which showed in the smile on his lips that day as he stood in the grounds waiting for his students to turn up. Behind him stood a huge display of bushes, so large in fact you couldn't see more than the entrance behind Jake to the left. But, that was the plan.

Waiting for students, Jake went through the plan in his head, Marilyn had said it sounded good, a challenge, he only had to hope his class were under the same impressions as he was today.

It made no difference to the Nightshade if the class was indoors or not - all that mattered was if they were going to be using spells or just doing theory. Theory classes were what she found the most boring - she tended to skip those if she knew in advance, having a vast collection of acceptable excuses ready to present at any moment. Going outside, however, meant only one thing: a challenge, be it an obstacle course or something else. She was hoping it was the former; an obstacle course would be the perfect way to end the year.

The weather was particularly chilly that day, not that Janique really cared, as she made her way down to the grounds. Besides her uniform she bore no jacket or coat, instead using a single scarf tied neatly around her neck. She left her hair down, letting the breeze do whatever it wanted with the yellow locks. Reaching the location, she smiled to herself as she took in the tall bushes, knowing that she was right: this was going to be a hands on lesson, possibly a maze of some sort. Nodding a greeting at Jake, she looked around impatiently, waiting for the other students to arrive.
