| Early December had come to Salem and with it a light dusting of snow. Jake was happy to see the grounds looking so festive as he headed in to his classroom, putting all of the desks out of sight and taking out his wand and flicking it to the board. The words that appeared displayed the topic of today's lesson. It would be interesting for the lessons, though he hoped to Merlin the students wouldn't believe it to be okay for them to use outside of lessons.
Leaning against his desk, Jake waited for the first students to reply.
"Tongue-Tying Curse." |

| Brayden was glad to be back and ready for action, he walked in and saw that he was once again the only one that was in there again, he didn't mind being the first one there because that meant that he wasn't late nor will he ever be late for this class this time. The Belladonna smirked at his Professor. "Hi Jake, hope you're well?" Brayden decided to make some kind of conversation while they waited for others to arrive. | |

| Callum made his way to Defence Against the Dark Arts, one oh his better classes. He walked through the door into the classroom and moved to the front of the room "Jake," he nodded in acknowledgement, dropping his bag to his feet and waiting for class to start, quite eagerly. | |

| Ares was glad to be going to class and when he opened the door and saw that there was only two boys there and only one of them he was friends with because they had a lot in common. Ares loved being friends with Brayden, they were like the same person but in different houses. The Wormwood stood next to his friend and waited for Jake to begin his class. "Morning Jake" Ares greeted him. | |

| Aphrodite walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts and saw a lot of familiar faces and one of them was her little brother. She wasn't surprised to see him here, he liked coming here because he could use his magic whenever he really wanted to and she couldn't blame him, she was his age once. The Belladonna walked fully in and stood there waiting. "Hi Jake" she greeted him friendly. | |

| "Hi Jake, hope you're well?"
"Good morning, Brayden. I'm well thank you, how about yourself?" Jake asked, just before more students entered the class. Each of them greeted him, which was something of a change, and he replied to each of them with a 'good morning'. When there didn't seem to be anymore students coming to this lesson, Jake pressed on.
"Okay, so today, we will be looking at the Tongue-Tying Curse. Does anyone want to give me any information on this curse? Apart from the obvious, I think we can all work out what it does. One answer each!" |

| When Jake answered Brayden's question and asked another question, Brayden shrugged. "Doing good" was all he said to Jake, now wasn't the time to start voicing his opinions on certain things. When Jake asked about the tongue tying curse, all he could do was smirk. Oh how he wanted to use this one someone one day, it just sounded completely funny and would be amusing to watch. "The Tongue-Tying Curse can be used to stop one's opponent from casting a spell." | |

"Very good, Brayden!" Jake acknowledged the answer with a warm smile. "Take five points for Belladonna." He added, looking around the rest of the class. "Brayden has picked up on one of the uses. There are a many reasons you can use the spell. A prank, or in duelling. Now today we are going to be attempting this spell. The incantation is Mimble Wimble and the wand movement is like so."
With that, Jake took out his wand and showed them the movement.
"Please pair up, and have a go at the spell, I will reverse them at the end of the lesson. No other spells." Jake told them, waving them off to have a go. |

| Ares listened to Jake instruct them what to do and when he said to pair up, Ares went straight to his buddy Brayden. "Want to be my partner? We're going to need the practice if we ever want to prank someone by using this spell" Ares reminded his friend about their weekly pranks they pull on others. The Wormwood and the Belladonna were a good team. | |
