Lesson 2- Safety in Alchemy (All Years)

Alexander thought it a crucial part, in Alchemy, to learn some safety procedures. He knew, from personal experience, how dangerous some of the experiments could get, in fact, he had nasty scar, from a burn, running up the length of his left arm. So, he wanted to make sure no one else would be hurt in his lessons.

He wrote on the board 'Safety in Alchemy', and waited for the students to arrive.

Thana got ready for Alchemy, it was one of her first classes for the day. She couldn't wait to get to it, so as it happened she was the first student there. Walking in and reading the board she knew it would be a Theory Lesson, which she didn't mind. "Professor" she acknowledged, taking a seat and getting prepared. Their last lesson had been practical even if it was easy, but theory she liked just as much. Quietly Thana pulled out a notebook that she used for Alchemy and wrote what was on the board in her messy writing.

Apollo walked into the Alchemy classroom and saw that only Thana was there and she was already sitting, he walked over to her and took the seat next to her. "Hey Thana" he greeted to her before he turned to his Professor. "Hi Professor" he greeted to the man. Professor Hamilton was a great guy and one hell of a Professor, so he was glad to be here.

She found this class useless in her eyes, a lot of others from Nightshade think that it's helpful and all that but she sees the full on truth behind all of it. Henley walked into the classroom and plopped herself down in a seat, she wasn't in the mood for any of her classes so she did what she does best and ignored everyone and anything that was in the room.

Jareth walked in to Alchemy, he noticing his Sister and her Boyfriend were already there, as well as a Nightshade. "Sup Professor, Sister, Sisters Boyfriend" he acknowledged, giving a cheeky smile and sitting a few seats away from Thana, mainly just out of hitting reach.

Callum had regrettably missed his first lesson of the year for Alchemy. However, he had made sure to catch up, and was ready for this lesson. He was naturally talented at Alchemy, and found it so easy, of course it would be his favourite subject. He walked into the classroom, giving a slight nod to the Professor and took a seat, casually leaning back in it and linking his hands behind his head as he waited for class to start.

Annie didn't know what this class was about but she was going to give it a try. She couldn't judge a book by its cover if she's never really read it, or in this case gone to the class to see what its about. The Nightshade walked in and saw a few people she recognized and a few she didn't, she took her seat and waited for the class to begin. The Nightshade knew that the Professor's name was Professor Hamilton but didn't know if he was a nice guy or not so she just settled for a wave and a polite smile.

Ares wondered if Brayden was in the class but when he entered he didn't see his friend anywhere. The Wormwood sighed but then smirked when he saw his brother with his somewhat girlfriend, oh how he was going to have so much fun this year. Ares took a seat and nodded his head in his big brother's direction before facing the front and waiting for the lesson to begin.

Diem walked into Alchemy and saw that there was a nice turn out so far. She barely ever came to this class because she was afraid that she was going to fail but now that this was her last year at Salem and in Nightshade, she wanted to go out with some sort of a bang. Diem took a seat and saw some familiar faces already there. "Morning Professor Hamilton" she greeted to the man who stood before them.

The Belladonna saw that his next class was going to start soon so the boy decided to begin to make his way there. From where he was coming from it didn't take fairly long to get there which was actually a good thing if you asked him. The Belladonna got to the class in no time and walked inside. He caught the back of the head of his best friend and made his way towards him. He took a seat next to Ares and smirked before facing the front to wait for the class to begin. He was back and ready.

Aphrodite Oxton was stunned with what she was seeing, both of her brothers in a class before she even got there, she was completely shocked, neither of her brothers were usually ever there before her but now here they were. The blonde haired girl waited for Professor Hamilton to begin his class. "Morning Professor Hamilton" she said to the man who taught her class.

Michelle walked into the next lesson classroom what she had today. It was Alchemy lesson. It was good and useful lesson. She greeted everyone who were in that classroom and then too a seat in empty table. Now she needed to wait lesson to start. It was most boring thing about lessons for her.

He watched, and greeted all of the students as they entered the classroom, a warm smile on his face as per usual. He took pride in always being friendly to the students, seeing as niceness tended to make even the most troublesome co-operative. "Right," he said once everyone was seated "Today, we are going to go through some necessities needed while studying Alchemy, and what to do and not to do in the event of say a burning, or spillage." he gave a brief overview of the lesson "Now then, can anyone tell me some ways to prevent accidents from happening in Alchemy?" he asked the class.

Ares watched as others began to answer the questions that Professor Hamilton had asked from them. The Wormwood boy wasn't really sure what this lesson was going to be about yet but it was confirmed when Professor Hamilton brought up how they could stay safe in Alchemy in the future. When he was finished speaking, Ares raised his hand to answer his Professor. "By following the rules that are given."

Alexander listened, surprised that only one person spoke up in class. "Correct Mr. Oxton, take five points," he nodded to him with a smile. Time really did fly during the lesson, he realised that already it was time to finish class, and was rather disappointed that he didn't get more discussion out of his students. "Alrighty, it would seem that we are out of time this lesson," he said and dismissed the class.
