Lucas knew that the younger years were starting to get tired, especially just before Christmas. He decided to make the class interesting and knew the perfect Alchemic recipe. Popping Candy. While it wasn't entirely beneficial for healing, it was a fun way to show Alchemy and how it worked. He arrived at his class and made sure that all of the ingredients were ready, before waiting for students to arrive so they could begin the fun day. At least he thought it would be.

Violet made her way to Alchemy. Christmas was near, and the weather was getting much colder. While she enjoyed the cold, she didn't much like all of the holiday decor on the walls, in the Great Hall, shoving the season down her throat. She was cynical when it came to all this 'holiday cheer' crap.

She was the first in the classroom, and she took a seat, not bothering to acknowledge the professor, as per usual.

Elysia, having asked an older student on the way on the whereabouts of the alchemy classroom, had arrived at class on time for what seemed to be the first time ever. True, there was one other student in, from what she can see, and the professor, of course, but it didn't dampen her spirits one bit.

"Good day, Professor.", the young Raven greeted, bowing slightly- a gesture that she had grown accustomed to - before taking her seat. It was about one or two desks away from the other girl, not wanting to disturb her.

Natasha made her way to Alchemy, excited for the lesson. She rather enjoyed Alchemy, finding it to be really quite interesting, and useful, and she couldn't wait for this lesson. She walked into the classroom, greeting the Professor quietly with a small smile as she found her seat and waited for class to start.

Alchemy was new to her but she was going to learn how to get used to it. The Ravenclaw walked inside and saw the three girls that she is always in classes with, she loved seeing familiar faces in her class just as much as the new ones from the first years or transfers. "Morning Professor" she greeted to her Professor. She took a seat and waited for the class to begin.

Lucas watched as his younger years arrived, smiling softly to each one of them. "Morning students." he addressed the class, noticing that so far it was mainly Ravenclaws that had arrived as well as Miss Lynch. "Before we begin I do have a few things to get through. Firstly does anyone here not like sugar or have a dietary reason they cannot have it. And secondly, does anyone here have a tendency to get hyperactive or have an allergic reaction to food flavouring?" he asked the class. Making sure no one would be left out and there wouldn't be any accidents.

Violet raised her eyebrow at the question about sugar, gathering quickly that they wouldn't be doing 'proper' Alchemy this lesson, no. They would be making food, something 'fun', which, for her, was a huge letdown. She wasn't there to learn how to make 'fun' things, she was there to learn.

"I don't have any allergy or dietary requirements," she answered in a dull tone "Though it'd be much more beneficial to do something more than make edible items," she added flatly.

Natasha was about to answer, when the Hufflepuff girl, Violet decided to answer in that bored tone. While Natasha agreed that a different practical would be beneficial, she wasn't opposed to having some fun with just a relaxed lesson.

"I just can't have anything with red colouring," Natasha said "My parents say that it causes me to lose too much focus on things. I think other flavours and that will be fine though,"

Newt had slept late again. He hurried out of bed, got his robes and hair ready, and made his way to the Alchemy classroom. He hoped he wasn't going to get a detention for this, since that would really disappoint the young Lion. Once he got to the classroom, he opened the door and said, "I'm vewy sowwy I'm late, Pwofessor." Newt took a seat in the back, ashamed about his lateness.  "I don't have any food allewgies. Also, I don't have anything that can make me hyper."

Kedzie thought about what the Professor was asking before she shook her head. "No Professor, I am completely fine" she answered to her Professor. She didn't really have an allergies which was good, she knew of people who had it and it sucked because the stuff they were allergic to were the good things that tasted delicious.
