Charms Lesson 2 (Years 5th-6th)

Katherine was ready for her next class, she decided to just let it focus on the 5th and 6th years this year, she really wanted to make some sort of change this year and thought that this would be a good way to do it. The blonde sat back and waited for her class to show up, she would be teaching them the Confundus Charm that day.

Victoria was excited for the lessons on the run up to Christmas, something that was quite evident in the fact she was sporting her Santa hat. Skipping down the third floor corridor, she slipped in to the class with a warm smile directed at the professor. "Good morning, professor!" Victoria acknowledged brightly, moving to her seat at the front of class and sitting down.

Taking out her notebook, textbook and wand, Victoria waited for others to join them and further instructions to be given.

Ryan walked into Charms and saw that there was only one other person there and that was a younger Hufflepuff, well not real young just younger then him. He took a seat and gave a polite small grin to the Professor while he began to get his things out of his bag. Ryan wondered what they'd be learning that day since the lesson before this one the Professor wasn't there and just gave a small assignment for them to do.

Lucy walked into Charms, happy to see that this time the teacher was in and she wouldn't just be writing about her favourite Charm. She loved learning new things. She took a seat and smiled warmly at the Professor as she took out her things to get ready for the lesson.

Cass was happy that Charms was next on her timetable. It was one of the more enjoyable subjects she took, and she enjoyed practising Charms. She walked into the classroom, with a smile on her face "Hi Professor," she greeted warmly as she took a seat and began to get all her things out for class to begin.

Beatrice was proud to say that by now, she wasn't getting lost in the huge castle as much anymore. She knew where almost every classroom was and found her way almost every time. She walked to the Charms classroom, hoping her friends would be there and hoped Georgina wouldn't be. She had been avoiding the Hufflepuff ever since the incident in the Great Hall. It was utterly embarrassing and Bea was hoping she would never see the girl again. It was an impossible wish, of course, but a girl can dream.

"Hey, Victorie." she greeted the brunette with a huge grin and sat down next to her. Victoria was a lovely person and Bea loved spending time with her, and not just because she was cute as a button. She nodded politely to the Professor and took out her notebook.

Alyson walked in and saw a lot of familiar faces in the class, she even saw her friend Cassidy that she always used to talk to the year before. Alyson took a seat next to Cassidy and smiled at the fellow Gryffindor. "Hi Cass" she greeted the girl, she looked at the Professor and gave her a warm smile before grabbing out the materials she'd need for the class that day.

Katherine watched as friends reunited with friends and so on, she was glad that at least some people showed up for her class and it wasn't completely empty. The Head of Hufflepuff gave it a few minutes and when no one else showed, she decided to begin. Katherine cleared her throat a bit. "Welcome back, hope you have a good weekend? For today we will be going over the Confundus Charm, who can tell me a little about that Charm?" She asked no one in particular, just wanted to see who would answer it correctly.

When Beatrice entered and moved to sit next to her, Victoria grinned at the Ravenclaw. "Hi Bea!" Victoria greeted warmly. The French witch was so cool, Victoria couldn't really put it in to words, all she knew, was that Beatrice was becoming one of her closer friends at Hogwarts, along with Allegra. They made quite the trio, in honesty.

"Welcome back, hope you have a good weekend? For today we will be going over the Confundus Charm, who can tell me a little about that Charm?"

But as soon as the question was asked, Victoria was on task, her hand shooting in to the air as the question was posed to them. "The Confundus Charm is a charm that is used to confuse an opponent. The degree of the confusion is not fixed though, you can confuse someone enough to make them believe that something has happened, or alternatively, it can confuse someone so much that they could harm themselves. It isn't a charm to be taken lightly, that's for sure." Victoria supplied once she was called upon.

Lucy was attentive when the blonde Professor began to speak about the topic they'd learn this lesson. And she listened while a Hufflepuff girl, whom she didn't particularly recall from anywhere, eagerly raised her hand and answered the question. Once finished, Lucy raised her own hand "The only thing I can think to add is that the incantation is 'Confundo'." she said.
