Having gotten rather bored of being holed up in the stuffy dungeons that were the Slytherin1 common room, Jacoby decided that he was going to go out and get some air and exercise. It being well into the in set of fall most of the other students would be staying inside huddled up in the common rooms near the fires. Not Jacoby though, after having roughed it for a year sometimes without a roof over his head or heat to keep him warm, the young Slytherin had found that he actually really liked the cold weather. So it was without any hesitation at all that he stripped down to a pair of swim trunks after setting his stuff near a tree, that Jacoby dove head first into the lake for a good swim. This time of the year even most of the creatures in the lake were feeling lethargic and he was hardly bothered at all as he swam about and enjoyed himself.
It was the grumbling of his stomach that eventually lead the boy to emerge from the water and head back to his bookbag where he'd packed a snack swiped from the kitchen on his way out for just such an occasion. He'd been so absorbed in enjoying the brisk water that he hadn't noticed someone had moved to sit at his tree until he was on his way back to it. Reaching the other male who seemed to be thoroughly engrossed in his book JC cleared his throat politely, "Pardon me mate but you sitting on my bag can you pass it to me please?" Drops of water rolled off his stomach and dripped to form a small puddle at his feet.
