Hufflepuff V Ravenclaw

After much deliberation with herself Thana decided to go for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team, she was at first not enthusiastic about doing it. Secretly she was a snake at heart, so she had no intention at first of playing.

Things changed quickly however, when Thana was offered captainship. She originally had no idea what she wanted to go for. Until she saw Carly Waters play, the girl was good. Really good. Thana tried out, opting to go for one of the beater positions. She had got it, and the captainship.

After scoping out the Team, Thana started training them. Making them better, she bought brooms for everyone and left it as a donation to the team from her "Parents" It wasn't to get on to the team, it was so that they actually had a chance. They weren't bought until after she got on.


Now here they were, Ravenclaw on their new Firebolt 2's versing Hufflepuff.  Thana nodded to her team and the match began. The snitch was released. Connor Bailey, the seeker from Hufflepuff was off and after it, as was her own team's seeker, Carly. They were off out of sight within a matter of seconds.

Then the game really began, Hufflepuff scored the first point from their chaser Tobias (NPC), Thana's team keeper Dylan (NPC) did a brilliant job, but didn't stop it. Thana just kept going, she trusted her team to know what they were doing. She chased down a bludger, then aimed it at the Hufflepuffs chaser Aidan (NPC) she kept going, ignoring the scores. Just looking out for her team.

After a few minutes, the Ravenclaw's scored their first points. Thana watched as Thomas (NPC) got one past Hufflepuff's keeper, Georgina.

"AND RAVENCLAW SCORES AGAIN!" the commentator, Luke (NPC) roared. Thana almost smiled and kept going. She aimed another bludger at the opponents chaser, hitting him. Thana almost felt bad. Almost. She knew she would probably help Lucas heal him if he was hurt.

Shawn Travers aimed a rather good shot at Ravenclaw's chaser, Thana zoomed out and knocked it away, but not before he got hit. Thana yelled out to him and made sure he was okay, he just gave the thumbs up and sent her off to keep bludging.

"SO FAR THE SCORE IS 30 to 50 RAVENCLAW'S WAY! THOMAS HAS SCORED AGAIN FOR THE 'CLAWS! OH AND WHAT A GOOD SHOT IT WAS! AIDAN HAS BEEN HIT BY A WELL DELIVERED BLUDGER FROM THE RAVENCLAW CAPTAIN THANA SEMELE! AND FOR ALL OF YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT DON'T KNOW, THANA IS THE NEW CAPTAIN! " Luke roared. Thana heard it all.

Looking around she searched for Carly, hoping she would be able to catch the snitch soon. "Come on CLAWS!" she yelled out as she zoomed past everyone in her team, sending out yet more bludgers to the opponents.

Over the course of the game there were injuries from both sides,  as well as points. Thana just shrugged her injuries off. Finally came the announcement she was waiting for.

"AND HERE WE ARE PEOPLE! WE ARE DOWN TO THE LAST BITS! CONNER AND CARLY ARE HEAD TO HEAD! BOTH ARE GOING AFTER THE SNITCH! YES ......... YES......YES! CARLY WATERS FROM RAVENCLAW HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH! AND THAT"S IT PEOPLE RAVENCLAW HAS WON! RAVENCLAW HAS WON, WITH THE FINAL SCORE BEING. CARRY THE 1, add the 2.. 370 POINTS TO 120 from HUFFLEPUFF! THATS IT LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND PARENTS. RAVENCLAW HAS WON!. "

Thana smiled as her team reassembled down on the ground, they shook hands with the Puffs, congratulating them. Thana looked over the injuries that both teams had sustained, "Lucas is going to be busy" she thought to herself. People had cuts and bruises. Thana herself had a few broken ribs that she had sustained from a bludger. She walked off the field for once she actually felt ...satisfied.

She walked with her team to the changerooms, she debriefed them then sent the ones without injuries to the Ravenclaw Common Room, no doubt the rest of the House would be having a party. For Thana it wasn't the same, she had a quick shower and a scrub up before helping Professor Faowind with the injuries that had been sustained from the game.
