Personality: Ingrid is a cruel almost sadistic witch, with brutal and violent tendencies. She is known to be highly intelligent, and often is smarter than many of the people her age. However she does also have a fierce and dangerous temper and quite easily becomes angered.
Ingrid because of her good looks is extremely narcissistic and down right arrogant. She often can't walk past a mirror without pausing to admire her reflection. Ingrid is also what you would call a natural born leader and is addicted to the power and control which leadership offers.
Background: Ingrid is a muggleborn, but not just that she was also an accident baby to a couple called Andrew and Hilary. They both didn't want the child and were planning on placing Ingrid up for adoption, until her Uncle Hugh said that he would take her on. So the moment she was born was given to her Uncle Hugh and they both moved to London.
Her Uncle was incredibly vain, and taught Ingrid that she should be vain as well. This is where Ingrid learnt to become cruel and vain. She would often go with her Uncle to the local pub just to watch him bash up the bartender. When she was in school she was the bully of the playground, and people soon learnt that you had to do what she said or you would get hurt.
As she grew older, around the age of 9 she started displaying her magical abilities as many young witches and wizards do. She would be able to make random objects fly into people or cause taps to start gushing out water with no way to be able to stop it by muggle means. Her Uncle Hugh was delighted with this gift and encouraged her to practice it everyday, he even bought muggle books on black magic to inspire her to use her powers for evil.
Finally when she was 11 she received her letter to Hogwarts, this is just what her and her Uncle had been hoping for, confirmation that she was indeed a witch and that she would go to a magical school were she could properly use her powers.

Family Background: Andrew and Hilary were just 19 when Hilary was born, they both wanted to live their lives and felt being a parent would cut that short. So they were most pleased when Hilary's brother Hugh said that he would take the child. The couple didn't even bother to name Ingrid, and have that duty to Hugh.
A few years later Andrew and Hilary decided they were ready to be parents and had a child, another daughter. They now live very happily in Yorkshire and want nothing to do with Ingrid. As far as they are concerned Ingrid doesn't exist.
When Ingrid was 5, Hugh decided to tell her about her parents and the birth of the new child, this angered Ingrid. Hugh enjoyed seeing this young girl turn into such a hateful creature like himself.
