As Cassidy took up her space and gave the spell a go, Jake smiled at the witch for the effort, and success. "Well done, Cassidy!" Jake acknowledged the attempt, waving for her to continue as the dummy grew back to it's normal size.

The same went for Lucy, who had also completed the spell, and was intent on trying over and over again. "Well done!" Jake told the witch as he passed, glad to see she was keen on practicing as much as she could in lesson time.

"Professor? Am I doing this correctly?"

"Yes you are." Jake replied to the Slytherin who'd come late. He noted the tone of voice, and had to let out a small smile at how naïve she though he was. "Keep going, they're growing to normal size again." The professor added a moment later, pointing to the dummies that had returned to their normal size.

Georgina, however, seemed to be one of only a few struggling, but the witch had made a slight difference to the dummy. "Well done, Georgina, you're definitely getting there!" Jake told the Hufflepuff with a smile. Checking his watch, Jake noted they didn't have long left, but he'd allow a little longer for practicing.

Skye sighed, everyone else seemed to be getting this spell. He tried and his dummy didn't shrink all the way. The head would, or the shoulder would, or an arm, a leg; never the entire body.
Sighing again, Skye half heartedly took a stance, but didn't cast the spell. He lowered his wand again. Ugh! What's the point! I never get it right, I never spell anything right!

Tristan frowned slightly as their professor turned around. She kept shooting the spell at the dummies each time they began to grow bigger and bigger. "Dimminuedno!" She shouted at a dummy nearest her and watched it shrink. THis was getting quite boring and she wished they could do something else.
