Current Home: Salem but her previous home was a cottage since she was 10 before being given to an orphanage. She attended a different wizarding school prior to Salem. During break she goes back to the orphanage.

General appearance: Golden dark wavy hair. Blue eyes with dark grey flecks. She is short but is still having growth spurts. She has slight curves but hides it under loose fitting clothes.  

Special Features: scars over her back and a few on her stomach/chest. She has two short cuts on her left forearm and an X on her right upper arm. She has a birthmark behind her neck which is hidden under her hair. Her scars are hidden under her clothes.

Blood purity: unsure, could be half blood or muggle born.

Personality:
Estelle is a introverted person. She is strong and resilient who lets whatever happens, happen. Poetry is a way she expresses herself since she hasn't exactly been impressive.

Strengths:
• Quick and versatile mind. She is very good at improving her knowledge of (often diverse) topics and fields that interest her.  She takes pleasure in tackling intellectual challenges, and her natural curiosity pushes her forward as well.
• Jacks-of-all-trades. The most important strength of Estelle is her mind. Other personality types pride themselves on being artistic, intuitive, convincing, athletic, etc. In contrast, Estelle excels at being able to analyze anything that life throws at her.
• Independent and decisive. She is ruthless when it comes to analyzing the usefulness of methods or ideas. She could not care less if that idea is popular or supported by an authority figure. If the Estelle believes that it does not make sense, only overwhelming rational arguments will convince her otherwise. This strength makes her efficient and an impartial decision-maker. She also tends to be quite resistant to conflicts, usually remaining rational and calm in an emotionally charged situation.

Background: Estelle Genevieve Lovelace. Born on April 1st and constantly reminded that being born on that day made her a joke and an accident. Her childhood was masochistic and sadistic. Since the age of 6, she was beaten, whipped and tortured. Her parents explained that this was an experiment. Estelle came away with bruises, scratches, cuts and the worst was scars covering her body. She never went outside the cottage, even to fetch the post.

She constantly had traumatic nightmares which woke herself up screaming and sweating. The nightmares happened every night when she was beaten. The beating didn't stop till she was 9. If this was a cruel way to make her immune to pain, it surely didn't work. After being tossed around by each parent, she was sent to an orphange. Estelle had a funny feeling. She somehow couldn't remember who her parents were.. She couldn't remember their faces or what happened for most of her childhood.

The only glimpses she had was at night when she fell asleep. She dreaded sleeping because it meant reliving same scenarios over and over again. She would go days without sleep which made her eyes look like blue/black hollows. When she was 11, she received a letter. She thought that it was children playing tricks on her once again. These letters kept coming. Eventually, she got up and left the orphange where she was upon a crazy bus and taken to an official for the school. Attending a wizarding school for two years didn't make her feel comfortable. She was teased, beaten and bullied for her time. She has changed schools in hope to be accepted into Salem. Maybe this time people would leave Estelle alone. Wizarding world is better than muggle world. She can stay away from the dark figures that haunt her dreams... Or so she hopes.

Family Background: Estelle does not know her parents and did not have much to do with them as she was growing up. One Winter afternoon she in the attic, trying to escape the nanny. She found a box of letters dated back to when her parents were married. Her reading level was quite good for her age since she read a fair amount of classical novels. She understood a letters like how they met, where they were married but the rest were written in a different language or too complex for her understanding. She tucked it in her drawer with her clothes.
