Constance chose a place where she could observe how tough these children were. She looked at the 4 children: A Slytherin, a Hufflepuff, a Wormwood and a Nightshade. They were still unconscious but still alive. They were located in amongst the Muggle world. If word got out, they would most likely send Dementors after her as well as the ministry. Blending into the Muggle world was peculiar. She had been to different continents, working out where her destination would be. Constance decided that she would make her base in Paris, France. On the outskirts of Paris, there was an old abandoned hospital. It had shut down in the 90’s which meant that it was dusty, musky and eerie. At each entrance was a Black Widow (even on the rooftop). To send warnings if there was a chance that the ministry found them or one of the children, unlikely, escaped.

Constance wore a deep crimson trench coat and below that was a black shirt and skirt. The room was cold and damp. She gave no consideration for the students as they had to earn their way to privileges. In the meantime, she made herself a well-deserved meal and sat down by the cobwebbed window. The center of the room was bear, where Constance intended to stand once the children woke up. It would not be long before they started awakening – she hadn't knocked them out too hard. She was on a mission and did not have time to waste.

Filing her nails, she heard a set of chains move. Her head snapped up to where the source of noise was. It was amusing, to see how helpless these children were, how much blood she could spill, how far they would go to save their own life. Standing up, she flattened her coat down and exhaled deeply. She started to see her own breath which came out as a white cloud. She knew these children would be freezing. Then Constance would be able to see who could survive this. Their cloaks were not thick enough to protect them from the cold night they had ahead. Constance began walking, her heels clacking against the tiled floors. It echoed out into the corridor, somehow giving a signal to the Widows positioned at the entrances. It was beginning.

A dull throb at the back of his head that wasn't too unfamiliar greeted him. Slowly creaking open one eye in such a way that he was just able to look around without anyone realizing he was awake, he took in the surroundings. He wasn't alone, but the people near him did not raise any alarm bells, and so he let his eyes blink themselves wide. Pushing himself into a sitting position, he shivered, noticing that each breath he let out resulted in a steamy cloud. Raising his hand, he felt his head, searching with his sense of touch for any lumps, relaxing a little when he found none.

It was then he remembered what had happened, and he would have kicked himself if not for the given situation. He had thought school would be safe, and so had let his guard down. Look where that got me? he scolded himself! but only for a moment; it never helped with survival to dwell on past mistakes.

At least the cold was a game he had mastered, having lived through 7 winters alone on the streets. It was cold, yes, but it certainly wasn't at cold as some of the nights he had spent, huddled under a piece of cardboard, wondering if that was to be his last moment alive. But he had made it out, and by Merlin, he was going to make it though one night in - where was he?

Trying to work out his location, he determined that it was a basement of sorts, reminding him of the dungeons that held his common room. At least that meant he was indoors, and wind wouldn't be too much of a factor. It was only then that he recalled the three others near him, and he turned his attention to them. In the cold, it was easy to determine that they were alive; each breath they took produced a mist, a proof of life that gave him some hope. As long as there were other people, they had a chance.

For now, it didn't matter why they were taken, or who had taken them. All that mattered was the here and now. "Wake up," he started, his teeth chattering. Swallowing and taking a deep breath of the chill air, he raised his volume and tried again. "Wake up!" He knew that if all of them were to make it, they needed warmth, and the best kind of warmth came from people, huddled into a small ball, using whatever material they had as a shield against the cold. It was something that had kept him alive during winter, and although he had not enjoyed sleeping under the armpits of men twice his age, it had worked.

But now, he had something else to help him: things to look forward to. On the streets, he had seen strong people give up and die because they had no hope, nothing keeping them wanting life. This was not the case for him, not now, at least. He could think of Brooke, of his parents, of Hogwarts. He could think of flying, of Quidditch, of how many goals he had stopped, and how many more he could stop, if he stayed alive. Yes, Tristan had many things to look forward to, and it was going to take all his will to get though the night. It was a good thing, then, that he already had 7 years experience to back him up.

(OOC: Sorry, I got carried away. Heh.)

The first thing Isabelle felt as she slowly, groggily came to was the smell. It smelt like damp, rotting almost, and it made her nose twitch. Confused wasn't even the word; she wasn't in a dream, of course not, because for one thing she didn't even remember going to bed, and secondly she could feel things. The biting cold meeting her skin and the freezing floorboards beneath her legs, giving her a bit of a shock since she had taken off her black tights, leaving her skin exposed.

Through nothing but fear, the Wormwood refused to open her eyes. This was real, it was all happening, but there was something inside her that was trying to rationalise, practically pleading with the rest of her instincts to believe that she was imagining the situation. She took a few steady breaths to calm herself down, subtly wiggling her fingers and toes to make sure she still could, and sighed her relief when her extremeties worked perfectly. There was a rattle, though, one that sounded like chains, and she jumped without meaning to, eyes flying open just as a voice spoke out to her.

"Wake up," he started, his teeth chattering.

The panic flooded over her quicker than she could have ever imagined it to, and her heart started to pound against her ribs, so much so that she was sure that whoever was around her could hear, a noise similar a drum but with a beat nowhere near as steady. She felt her skin pale, her hands start to shake as she looked around frantically. "Who-... who's there?" Isabelle said weakly, voice cracking and wavering. "Why are we here?"

The young girl's eyes started to sting, her throat closing up. She saw the others; one girl she vaguely remembered from Salem, the other two complete strangers. The boy who had spoken had a thick English accent, and that only made her feel more isolated, more alone, because it all felt so alien to her. The cold floor against her frozen skin, the cold metal of the chains, the way her breath came out in mists.

Terrified didn't cover it.

Constace waited a while for the two students who were awake to respond in whatever way they deemed necessary. The ones that weren't awake, Constance thought she may have knocked them out hard enough to place them into a coma. There was also a chance that they were playing 'dead' but she would deal with that later. Watching these two children, a boy and a girl, made a lot of fun for her.

Her lips pulled into a smirk,"Now, this can go the easy way or the hard way. Tell me your names and state your age." Her voice drawled, stepping closer to the boy. Constance stopped a few meters from him and inspected his uniform,"Slytherin. Perhaps there is some potential." Constance murmured, herself being placed in that house also. Her mind went back to her first year, the way they described the Slytherin House.

Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

It was true that Constance made real friends and she still kept some to this day. Some were not in the widows but they were always loyal to Constance. Once the boy finished speaking, Constance walked over to the Salem girl. It was curious that she was a Wormwood. Of course, there were the big eyes and innocent face. This was the 'smart' house. There would be a lot of intellectual potential in this girl if she would put it forward.

"Well, my darling, you are here because I brought you here. Before we get into business, where do your loyalties lay?" She spoke icily, lifting up one of the girls' chains to inspect her wrists. Not bloody and raw enough yet. It was disappointing that these two children were all she could see for the time being as the potential wasn't as high as she had hoped.

Chuckling,"Who am I? Well, I am the one your parents told you to stay away from. I am the lady who is in all of your horror stories." Constance shrugged,"I'm Constance Vale."

There was so many things Tristan wanted to do. His first reaction was to comfort the girl, whom, by the looks of her uniform, went to Salem. It was not something he would have done out of love, but rather, survival. It was a known fact that panic does not equal a good chance of making it out alive of any situation, and Tristan did not want to witness another death of one so young, so innocent. He had seen enough of those on the street.

Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a small movement and turned immediately, ignoring the sharp stab of pain that shot through his wrist where the chain was beginning to rub against his flesh.

"Now, this can go the easy way or the hard way. Tell me your names and state your age."

Compliance. Was that all the woman wanted? His instinct told him otherwise, and he looked up at her, face blank and emotionless. "My name is Tristan and I'm thirteen," he said calmly, forcing any trace of fear out of his tone.

Slowly, very slowly, the skills he had picked up from his years on the streets were beginning to return after being pushed aside for so long. As she walked over to the Salem girl, he watched her carefully. Nothing was skipped over by his eyes, taking in the way she dressed, the way she moved and acted.

"...where do your loyalties lay?"

Play along, he told himself. It had gotten him out of many scraps before, and he could only hope that it would work just one more time. "With whoever deserves them," he muttered, loud enough for the woman to hear but soft enough to give the impression that he was talking to himself.

At the mention of her name, a quick frown took hold before disappearing. Where had he heard that name before? His parents had certainly never mentioned her to him before, and neither had Brooke. "I've never heard of you." It was a bold move, he knew, but if he could somehow impress her, gain her trust, or even get her to relax just a little, there was a chance to escape.

The stakes, he realized, were higher than ever for him, because - unlike those times on the street where nobody would miss him if he died - he now had a family. He had Brooke and Aurelia and Caleb, and he knew that they would be hurt more than words could describe if anything were to happen to him. It wasn't just himself he was going to survive for, no, he had to survive for them.

Jaden started to come around. The last thing that she remembered was she was back at Salem. Her eyes where still shut but she could smell that she was in a musty building. The cold was hitting her, but she was wearing her skirt. She was going to change into quidditch gear when Sadie was going to show up. That is when she felt the chains on her wrist. The metal was cold and all she wanted to do was get out of this place. But she seen that she wasn't the only one that was taken . Jaden could tell that the Wormwood girl was with her. But she then seen two others that were from Hogwarts.

All she was thinking about was Sadie She wondered if her sister was looking for her. Or if she realized that she was missing. Jaden then was shivering as she was watching the women speaking. All she wanted was to go home and forget that this happened. But she couldn't and knew that she was going to find a way to somehow survive this. She had to get back to Sadie but she was also thinking about Brayden. It wasn't like they were dating, but he was her good friend. And she knew that she had to think about her future husband. Even if she has never meet him. He would still care about his future bride, and she didn't want to bring shame to her family.

Jaden was terrified and had no idea why she was here. " Why are we here? Why did you take us from our schools?" She then noticed that they wasn't much older than she was. And she was in her second year at Salem. Tears where forming in her eyes because she was so scared. " I want to go home! I miss my sister."

This women then was asking for there names and what year they where in school. Jaden knew better than to give her name out to this one. She didn't care what was going to happen to her.

PostSubject: Re: Psychiatric Hospital: Room 201 (INVITES)   Psychiatric Hospital: Room 201 (INVITES) EmptyTue Jul 22, 2014 9:49 am

The sudden appearance of another person- a woman, even- made Isabelle close enough to terror that she could have screamed. Her vision was blurred through tears as she tried not to completely break down, looking over to the English boy for reassurance that she should comply with the witch's wants. As he spoke, ease radiating off himself, she found that all she had to do was what the blonde woman wanted her to.

"I-...Isabelle," she said meakly, trying to imitate the boy's aura of confidence but failing miserably. "And-and... I'm F-fourteen." Her breaths left her lips in shaken mists as she shivered, pulling against the chain involuntarily and wincing as it rubbed again. She wasn't bleeding, or at least, she didn't think that she was, but she knew that if she kept struggling agaisnt the metal that she would end up that way pretty soon.

"Well, my darling, you are here because I brought you here. Before we get into business, where do your loyalties lay?"

It was passive aggressive, almost. That was the only way Isabelle could describe it, and the vibes that she was getting off the woman weren't even slightly indicative of remorseful. She thought the question over for a matter of moments, bringing her legs closer to her and forcing her quaking muscles to retain them at her chest, as if to put a barrier between her and the other witch. "Th-th-they lie wi-with m-m-m-my school," she attempted, half stuttering due to cold and half due to the fact that she knew it wasn't the right thing to say.

"I'm Constance Vale."

Her heart could have given up on her then. Isabelle's mother had told her about this woman. She'll kill fifteen men just to get herself a designer handbag her mom had said one afternoon over dinner, with what the Wormwood had assumed to be a joking tone in her voice at the time, but now, she realised, it was fearful. "A-a-are you g-going to k-kill us?" she whispered, dull eyes looking up into those of the Vale woman.

She heart the soft rattle of chains from someone else, and her head whipped around to the sound. The other girl from her school, Jaden if she was correct, had come to as well and she looked just as scared as Isabelle felt. Had she been telepathic, she would have told the girl that she would be okay, tried to tell her to do what Constance wanted, but she couldn't, and her eyes wouldn't give the message for her. With a soft exhalation, she sealed her lips, looking down at the material of her school skirt that seemed so foreign in this strange, strange room.
