Patrolling Because We're Responsible (Shawn)

Lucy had hoped she'd be made a prefect, so she could hopefully follow in her older sister's footsteps and eventually become Head Girl. Her sister had set such an example, and she desperately wanted to follow her. So, like the responsible girl she was, she was early to her patrol shift, and was waiting for her boyfriend Shawn to turn up. She felt that for the moment, everything in her life was perfect. Her boyfriend was probably the loveliest guy ever, she was a prefect and she was going well in all her classes. Everything was according to her plan.

To be honest Shawn had been surprised when he'd seen the Prefect's badge in addition to the usual letter in the summer. He hadn't thought that he'd drawn much attention in either a good or bad way. So far he had enjoyed the extra work though, and since Lucy was a prefect as sometimes they'd end up working together. Tonight they had a patrol shift so he made his way to the entrance hall where they usually met if they had one at the same time. When he got there he saw Lucy waiting for him, and Shawn couldn't help a grin from appearing.

Trying to be quiet, Shawn sneaked up behind his girlfriend and put his hands over her eyes from behind. "Guess who?" he whispered.

"Guess who?"

She jumped a little in surprise as she felt someone's hands over her eyes. But then relaxed, letting a smirk touch her lips as she realised who it was "Hmmm, tough one... Shawn," she replied jokingly and turned to face him, linking her hands around his neck and leaning up on her tip toes to kiss him softly "Ready for patrols?" She was happy to see him. He always did make her happy. Just being around him bought all the good things to the surface.

"Hmmm, tough one... Shawn,"

When Lucy jumped he couldn't help but to smirk just a little, it was good to know his sneaking skills hadn't diminished. "Good guess Shadow." Shawn told her as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed back. As much as he would have loved to stay like that though, they did have work to be doing. He couldn't complain though, he would be with her and that was always wonderful.

"Ready for patrols?"

"Roger that." he said, and saluted her while putting a serious expression on his face. "It is our duty, and we must always be prepared. What are your orders?" Shawn asked. It was silly he knew, but in his opinion it was always worth it to get a laugh or a smile out of Lucy.

"Good guess Shadow."

"Thank you, Thimble," she murmured back against his lips. She loved using the nicknames they had for each other, because it just made her feel so close, and comfortable with him. It was sweet.

"Roger that." he said, and saluted her while putting a serious expression on his face. "It is our duty, and we must always be prepared. What are your orders?"

She had to giggle at that, "Of course!" she saluted him, trying to look serious as he was, but failing to do so "Your orders are to-" she thought for a moment and laughed again "I don't know, I'm bad at giving orders."
